My first ever tag! The fabulous ~asrneo has tagged me to post eight bizarre facts about myself, so here we go!
The rules: 1. Post these unfollowable rules. 2. Each person tagged has to post 8 strange facts about themselves 3. The tagged persons should write an incredibly long journal of these facts. 4. Then post eight unlucky people to be tagged. 5. Go to their page and leave a depressing comment telling them they're tagged. They will cry.
Facts:
1. I have an odd taste in music. I like Aqua, the older Backstreet Boys, The Vengaboys, and Spice Girls. This is the music I grew up with, but it fell out of fashion when I was around fifteen, and it became a dirty little secret. Heaven forbid I listen to music I liked back then instead of what everyone else liked. I also love Eminem, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Jet, Kiss, Queen, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Sarah Brightman, and Andrea Boccelli.
2. I think that Alan Rickman is the sexiest human being to ever walk the earth. ..That is all.
3. Solitude is as essential as oxygen to me. Many people that I know are afraid to end up alone, but when I picture my life five or ten years into the future, I don't see anyone around me. I'm completely content to be on my own, at pretty much any time.
4. When I was very young, my grandmother took me to the Royal Ontario Museum to see the mummies. Ever since then, my only real ambition has been to work in a museum; Egyptology section. I own innumerous textbooks on hieroglyphs, the complete history of Egypt, and the Dynasties of the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms.
5. I'm eighteen, and I don't drive. Why? Because I'm a hermit, of course. Often when I go out (which is rarely) it's by myself, and I have no reason to go anywhere that I can't walk to. I've never had any inclination to get my license, although I'll probably regret it later.
6. I'm an enormous hippie. I don't smoke pot or avoid showering like it'll melt my skin, which seems to be the stereotype, but my nickname isn't Pocahontas for nothing. If I see someone cutting down a tree for no good reason, I'm likely to beat them into the ground with their own axe. My parents aren't particularly concious of the environment, so we'll just say I was born with Al Gore Syndrome.
7. When I'm having a crisis, I tend to change my hair dramatically and dye it abnormal colors. A few years back it was blonde and almost to my waist; two weeks later, I had it cut off to my jawline and dyed fluorescent pink. My records show that it's been green, pink, brown, blonde, purple, orange, silver, and red. Up next: turquoise!
8. I've run out of stuff, so ask me questions instead!
didn't know all that stuff. see, that's the only reason Ilike these tags. I find out new things about ppl! quite awesome. until recently I had the same opinion as you do on #3.. well I still do about everything but the future part.. we change. ^^

If I ever saw a ghost it'd change the way I think I wouldn't gasp for air if ever I did sink I wouldn't struggle, I'd just let it all out fast, And then start living in the past
I think it's good that you're not so dependant of other people, and can live by well on your own. Still, such detachment will make you miss out on many of the finer things in life.
As for #7, I feel very related to that one. I haven't dyed my hair yet, but I vary my hairstyles greatly. And always on the least expected occassions, after I've had them long enough for people to get used to them. Whenever there's a big change in my life, I shave it all off and start over. Or when it's incredibly long, i get braids or cornrows, or a mohawk. Next on my list: dreadlocks. Thick ones. Though I'll have to wait for a while. I shaved it like a month ago, and won't have enough hair until like october. By then I'll want to get tired of the 'fro, curls, and ponytails again.
